EERN wishes the staff and clients of our member Agencies a Merry Christmas and a relaxing New Year.
Thanks to our generous supporters and donors of the many household items EERN can recycle to families who can make good use of them
EERN has packed and distributed close to 400 Christmas hampers to Agency clients. HUNTINGTOWER School, Mount Waverley, and other donors very generously supplied many of the items used in the hampers. Whitehorse City Council and Woodards Real Estate Blackburn organised donations of new toys and gifts which have been accessed by clients with children.
The EERN warehouse will be closed for the Christmas / New Year break from 1 pm Wednesday 21 st December to 9 am Wednesday 4th January 2023.
Online bookings for Warehouse visits and pick-ups of tagged items from 4 th January can be made throughout this period.
Available Stock. EERN has a good selection of furniture / whitegoods / small electrical goods in the warehouse. Refrigerators are in short supply.
EERN is open to Member agencies and their clients under the following guidelines : (i) Agency workers submit a formal Request for Goods through the supplied web-link request form and have received emailed confirmation of the agreed visit date and time; (ii) adhere to scheduling of warehouse visits; and (iii) where possible, pickup goods on the same day as they are selected by the clients.
The EERN warehouse team are happy to select requested items ready for pickup by the client’s carrier or courier. A new booking system for pickup of tagged items has started operations.
EERN Warehouse Policy. Agency clients can enter the warehouse with or without an Agency case worker. For the safety of our volunteers, all visitors must sign in, preferably wear a mask, maintain social distancing and not attend the warehouse if they have flu symptoms.

EERN volunteers accept, collect and warehouse donated recycled quality furniture, white goods, bedding, kitchen items and small electrical appliances. Non-perishable food, personal hygiene items and financial donations are gratefully accepted.
EERN partners with community-based agencies (Members) working within the cities of Boroondara, Knox, Manningham, Maroondah, Monash and Whitehorse.
EERN provides clients of these agencies access to the large, cost free stock of items listed above and, emergency food hampers and hygiene packs for immediate needs.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture, and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
